My youngest boy is 5months and is trying so hard to crawl it's not funny, I forgot what it was like to have a baby crawl in the house lol It's been 10yrs since my oldest was a baby and our 2yrs old (well 27month old) has Cerebral Palsy and didn't learn to crawl until he was two (24m) so this is so new to us now. I think having baby trying to be mobile is so much fun =) I can't wait for him to get up and moving...you don't know how much you miss it and long for it until you have a lil guy like mine who couldn't move anywhere without someone moving him for 2 years (minus the 2feet he could get squirming on his back and in his gait trainer).
Wouldn't parenting be much easier if all of the babies just sat there and played! Hehe... good luck. My son was doing the real crawl a week before he was 6 months and my daughter is now 5 months and I suspect by how much she rolls around that she will be crawling soon as well. A small sacrifice to help their brain development:)

Good article. My little 9 month old is so close to crawling but just can't do it yet. His sister walked on her own no problem by 10 months, guess all little ones do things on their own time.
