Many science centers are now offering baby friendly sections of the center, places made just for the little ones. Makes for a great outing for the whole family.
The Children's Museum in downtown Kitchener is a fun place! (Teachers are free) There is a wonderful groovy tot spot room when you can escape to with your wee one with mats and fun lights and colours and mirrors. Lot's of tactile fun! There are giant lego blocks to build with in the main area and lot's of space to run around. There is a room upstairs that has some fun for the toddler and up. Not a huge place but still lot's of fun.
