I love to get them little things for the day. I always have loved Valentine's day. I love love so what better then a day to celebrate it. I got my little lady a micophone and the little guy a music maker. We seem to have a show in our house everyday so thought something to add to the fun would be perfect. I of course got them a few little treats also. Are you getting anything for your littel ones?

I usually buy my little girl a card and this year I will be getting her some crayons and a colouring book. She is totally into colouring and "drawing".
Wow! I actually forgot about that!! We are being super cheap this year as money is really really tight...so I guess I will have to get creative! Any suggestions?
Little gift idea again $ store has really cute stuff. One idea is get a cute frame and take your picture with them on that day and put it in the frame and put it in their room. Memerable and cute, best of all cheap.

Making cupcakes, whether for your little ones or with them to give, are always fun, and not very expensive. :-)
Yes, the $ store great packages that are a $ for 8 cards that you can make. Not sure if your little one would be able to do that yet but you could make it for them and just sign it with their name. You could hand deleiver it and then the cost is next to nothing. Other years Ihave had her just draw with red or pink markers on paper and then had her add stickers. It was cute and she was very young when she did that one. It a day that it just the thought that counts. Good luck.
What age did you first try crayons with your little one?
She was young maybe 12 or 13 months. They do crafts all the time in the baby room at daycare and they start at 12 months. It is so cute.
