Well it was predictable that I would forget to blog for almost a month. It's been a little busy! The rest of our trip was really good, although we had to speed it up a bit - our house finally sold in Toronto and we had to cut off a few days to get back and sign all the paperwork! It was a huge relief to sell.. having 1 mortgage is obviously way better than having 2.

On the long road home we managed to see most of the things we intended to. My favourite was 2 days in the Black IHills checking out Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse. Totally incredible. Crazy Horse especially is an insane project.. hard to believe that someone would devote his life to something he could never see finished (or barely even started). Someday I can't wait to go back and see how different it is.

The geek in me was pretty excited for our unexpected stop in Vulcan, Alberta. What a cool collection of Star Trek stuff. They even have a monument in 2 official languages - English and Klingon. I'm proud to say that I put spock ears on Ronan.. so cute.

So we finally made it to Edmonton and moved into our house a week ago! It's been soooo good to finally be in one spot for more than 2 nights. Ronan is happy to have his crib back, although he changed so much in the last 3 weeks that we had to lower it - suddenly he could climb out! Moving in with a baby is a new experience.. we do things in 30 minute spurts before Ronan gets bored with the whole thing. I imagine in 2 years we'll be all settled in ;)
